ANDROMEDA CASSIOPEIA BLACK


- Andromeda is a seventeen year old Slytherin, and from one of the oldest pure-blood families. The younger sister of Bellatrix, and older sister of Narcissa, Andromeda is a balance between the two of their personalities, just as she is in the physical sense. Putting on an act, Andromeda is leading people to believe that she still holds the beliefs of her family -and their friends- very dear, but the truth is that she doesn't. Unbeknownst to all of her family and Slytherins, Andromeda is in a relationship ship with a muggle-born. They would be scandalized if they were to find out that she's in love with one as well. -



- Coming from the oldest of families, Andromeda has relations with every pure-blood family in the wizarding world. Of course, some the Black family wrote off for being blood-traitors, or simply not living up to who the Black's thought they should be. Everyone already knows who her sisters are, and her closest cousins, but the rest is just too far in the past. Her true friends are far and few, and popping up in the other houses more than her own. -



- She's different, everyone can tell, but most people won't say it. In her house she feels herself keeping more irritated with members of her own house and social circle. They way they talk about muggle-borns makes Andromeda sick, so she doesn't see herself staying in contact with very many of them after Hogwarts. While people are treading around her carefully for now, because of her namesake, it won't matter once Andromeda leaves for Ted. In fact, she will be a target for plenty of hatred. -



- The only person Andromeda could imagine spending the rest of her life with is Ted, even if their relationship is a huge secret right now. She has known she loved him since she was sixteen, and was pleasantly surprised when she found he felt the same way about her. Though her future is sealed in her eyes, her parents know nothing of her affair with Ted and have been setting up meetings with potential husbands for her...let's make things interesting. -

Lourdes&Andromeda- Their families have been running in the same social circle for a long time, but that doesn't mean they're best friends or anything. I can see their differences in opinions causing them to butt heads, especially since Lourdes is a firm believer that purebloods are superior. I don't think she'd be outright rude to Andromeda before the big reveal but once her relationship is out in the open she won't be very friendly.

Narcissa&Andromeda - Narcissa values her sisters very much. Although she practically idolizes and adores Bellatrix, she has always felt closer to Andromeda. Although she does not tell her often, she loves Meda deeply and although their relationship is not perfect, as nothing is, she really cares about her. Narcissa actually automatically considers Andromeda’s friends as her friends and her enemies as hers too. (At least until Andromeda chooses Ted over her family)

Sirius&Andromeda - Unlike with most of his family members, Sirius is actually civil and friendly with Andromeda. He could easily say that she is his favorite cousin simply because Bellatrix and her new husband disgusts him and Narcissa's self-righteousness makes him sick to his stomach. Sirius honestly had nothing against Andromeda aside from being in Slytherin. Sirius never considered Meda as his best friend but is fond of her because he feels like she too is different from the rest of the family like him. However, the fact that his older cousin was also in Slytherin and not in Gryffindor made him feel that she was still one of the Blacks he learned to dislike at a very early age. (Sirius will like Andromeda even more when she and Ted gets married.)

Lucius & Andromeda: I'm sure in the past and perhaps even now, there is a certain amount of respect between these two. Their both from wealthy, powerful Pureblood families and likely ran into each other at social gatherings. And she is Head Girl and he's a Prefect. Of course, once she becomes a Blood Traitor, Lucius won't like her at all. Plus, right now her sister kind of hates his guts so she might not be pleased about that. So not friends but not currently enemies?

Andromeda&lucius abraxas malfoy I imagine they would be polite to each other for a while, seeing as their families have been 'friends' for quite some time now. Also Andromeda wouldn't want to dislike him while her sister is trying to sort her feelings towards him out. I never really see them being really close, but I don't see them hating each other either...not now anyway.

Andromeda&narcissa callidora black Sisters and practically best friends, Andromeda knows that Narcissa looks up to Bellatrix more, but that doesn't stop her caring for her younger sister & wanting what's best for her. Leaving Narcissa behind is going to be the hardest thing, when the time comes.

Andromeda&sirius orion black The two grew up in the same, horribly twisted family, and they are the ones who are the most unlike them. It might not have always started off that way, but that was how it's turning out to be. Even when he was at a younger age, Andromeda was able to pick out Sirius' differences from their family, and while it frightened her at first she grew to appreciate his differences. There was something good, and accepting about him. She can't stand it when he fights with her sisters, but Sirius is (and will always remain) her favorite cousin. She's sort of afraid to leave Hogwarts to his terrorizing though, but she knows he's a good boy and won't cause too much damage to the school. When he was first placed in Gryffindor, Andromeda was a little upset that family tradition had been broken, but it didn't take her long to see that the hat had chosen wisely at his sorting. He fit in with that house better than he would have in Slytherin, even if his name guaranteed him acceptance. She harbors no ill feelings towards him for not making Slytherin.
